BACKPACKING & HORSEBACK PACK TRIPS
IN THE IDAHO PANHANDLE
We are pleased to welcome you to Idaho.  Our outfit is on the edge of Idaho next to the Cabinet Mountains.  This beautiful area is in Idaho's Panhandle.  The crystal clear waters of Lake Pend Oreille are a back drop for our mountain trails.  This inland sea is 65 miles long and 15 miles wide, gouged by ancient glaciers.  Visit mountain craigs and take in the abundant wildlife and flowers.
Backpacking and hiking trails of all different skill levels are also in the realm of our services.  We do hiking and backpacking assisted trips to the area lakes and mountain tops.  Gentle horses and mules along with an experienced guide are teamed up with your level of riding skills.  We want to invite you to the Panhandle of North Idaho, Idaho's undiscovered destination.
Pack trips and day rides into high mountain meadows and lakes are one of the many adventures we offer for your pleasure.  Visit the upper Coeur d'Alene River or proposed Scotchman Mountain Wilderness along with Dutch Oven style cooking make for a relaxing atmosphere.  Special dietary needs can be met upon request.
Youth Camps for your son or daughter is an experience full of Ecology, Wildlife and Wilderness skills. HORSEBACK YOUTH CAMP

Idaho Outdoor Experience is pleased to offer again this year 2002 an outfitted horse back camping trip for youth 9 to 18 years of age. We provide a trip of 4 days, full of horseback riding and camping pleasure for co-ed youth. We have a base camp on the Coeur d’ Alene River with many trails to exploring the forest on each day. Eco systems, plant life, and animal habit How to read a compass and map reading.
Each day brings a new and different area with excitement. At evening time there is a huge campfire and stories are told from ideas from the youth. Each youth helps with different chores during the trip. We start out from our home base here in the Clark Fork valley on the first day about 10:00 A. M. Each Youth is assigned their own horse, and this is there mount for camp. We have a lifetime of experience working with youth in 4-H, and many years ranching and outfitting.

On staff is an EMT and the guides have first aid cards. 

We carry radios for emergencies. We are going to only have 2 camps this year. We limit our camps to only 10 youth at a time to make it more personal. We are a licensed, bonded, and insured outfitter in Idaho. We supply either 2 or 4 man tents as need for sleeping. We can furnish references if needed. This is a Special price just for youth.

COST: $400.00 + 9 % taxes/Per Person we recommend Booking Early

IDAHO OUTDOOR EXPERIENCE will provide radio communications and all camping gear for your comfort.  Sleeping bags can be provided for our guests, or you may bring your own. Personal items are the guests responsibility.
