HORSEBACK RIDING

ALL DAY AND HOURLY RIDES

A all day ride may be just the right amount of riding for your pleasure. We have a large selection of different types of trails for different levels of riding ability. From nice and easy to take your breath away. We just need you, our guest, to tell us what you are looking for on your trip.

You need do not need to an experienced rider to enjoy the mountain trails from the back of a horse. We have excellent, gentle, mountain trail horses, most we have trained ourselves. An all day ride takes about 6 to 7 hours of a day, we find that this length of a ride is best for our guests. We make frequent stops along the trails and this gives you a break to stretch your legs. Most of our trails have fantastic views of Lake Pend Oreille as a back drop.

We recommend that you have long pants, a hat of some kind, sun screen of some kind for our clear alpine air. We climb from 3,000 feet to 6,500 on some trails. A light jacket and hard soled shoes of some kind, NOT the real knobby kind. We will furnish rain ponchos for our guests in case of weather.

There are 2 types of all day rides we do. One is a Hearty Sandwich Buffet of Roast Beef, Turkey, and Ham. The other is a Steak or Grilled Chicken Meal. Both of the rides come with a Vegetable relish tray, Homemade Potato Salad, Chips, (Corn on the Cob with a steak ride) and Strawberry Shortcake as desert. All rides include your choice of a soft drink for lunch, and bottled water for each rider. We take a pack horse to carry the lunch, grill, and other incidentals. You will have an experienced guide and we carry radio communications with us.

For hourly riding there are several trails around our place that we use. Again you will have a licensed guide who is very experienced in working with the public. Reservations are a must on all rides. Enjoy North Idaho With us Idaho Outdoor Experience
